Intro to Stained Glass: Foil Method

$260 (includes tool rental fee) plus $50 glass fee (required)
Prerequisite: None

In this class, students will learn the importance of a well-designed pattern and the proper cutting of the template, the tracing of the pattern onto the glass paying attention to the flow of the glass texture and design, cutting the glass, grinding each piece to fit well, cleaning, foiling and burnishing the edges and finally, the soldering technique for this foil project. For registered students, access to most tools will occur in studio.
