Ages 8-13: Sculpting Animation Characters

Sculpture I: Animation Characters
Aspiring artists will start by drawing their character, follow that by modelling it out of clay, learn mold-making techniques to form the core of their character, then use paper clay to add character's features and finish with acrylic paint.
Sculpture II: Animation Characters
Students will learn the steps needed to create their favorite Disney characters in polymer clay. Audio and video will be used to inspire and create a fun working environment. We will draw, model, and form our pieces. Then we will assemble our body parts and get them prepared to be baked.
