Ages 6-7: Painting for Young Artists

This course is an introduction to watercolour and acrylic painting tailored to young artists. Technical skills will be developed through a range of age-appropriate painting projects. Students will use their powers of imagination and observation to make artistic choices inspired by their own unique point of view. Samples and demonstrations, as well as the work of relevant artists will be introduced to expand students' artistic awareness and provide a visual and conceptual foundation for their projects. The course aims to build creative confidence through a supportive, fun environment which is both challenging and encouraging.
