Join University of Regina Associate Professor Alex MacDonald as he discusses popular songs of the Modernist dystopia. Musical examples will include original settings of songs by Aldous Huxley and George Orwell in Brave New World and Nineteen Eighty-Four, as well as a number of popular songs from the 1920s to 1940s.
