Maria Nesbet has decades of experience with us and teaches all levels of Spanish. Her students appreciate her helpfulness, clear explanations, lots of speaking practice, repetition, and language knowledge. Maria always ensures that all her students learn, improve, and master the different linguistic elements in a positive and enjoyable environment.
Maria on teaching: As a Spanish language instructor, it is important to me to connect with each student so that I can encourage active participation and give ample opportunities to increase speaking and listening comprehension fluency in Spanish. I strive to engage and appeal to a range of different learners by including and creating a variety of activities. One of my objectives is to motivate my students towards learning autonomy and independence and so, I often suggest other resources and technologies that complement our work together.
