Ismaël Besharah joined our program in 2018 and teaches beginner and intermediate levels of French. Ismaël has Languages and Education degrees with a specialization in French and English. He also teaches French in the school systems where he enjoys working with young adults. Our students appreciate his beautiful spoken French, his approach to teaching, as well as his encouragement.
Ismaël on teaching: French has always been a part of my life, starting out as my first language and eventually becoming my primary area of study. It became part of my professional life when I first started teaching as a tutorial leader for the U of S French department in 2015. I have a passion for sharing the language that I love with others and for helping them reach their own goals for language learning.
