Carol on teaching: I believe that learning to see is the basis of art making. It seems rudimentary, but our way of seeing in day to day life is distinctly different from the way we must learn to see when making art. I also believe greatly in simply doing. Committing to a regular practice can't help but lead to improvement and discovery. As a teacher I aim to create a safe, supportive space in which to explore. I assist in skill building, while allowing for the development of personal expression.
