Ashley Loehndorf has been fond of art ever since she can remember. She adores working in all kinds of mediums, but her heart lies with acrylics. Ashley is also passionate about nature and when she is not painting, she spends her time in the woods, adventuring, and camping. She has often found solace in painting nature scenes, animals, and Jackson-Pollock-inspired splatter paintings.
Ashley began her career with Paint Nite in 2016. In September 2021, she started her own company, A.lo Paint, instructing paint nights and doing commission work. She has instructed over 700 paint events and led over 15,000 students through a variety of paintings. Ashley loves working with young artists and led many of the Community Arts children’s summer camps in the summer of 2022.
Ashley on teaching: I enjoy teaching art techniques as well as providing the freedom and encouragement to help students take the reins and allow their own expression to flow through. For people of any age, I believe that art has the power to allow for creation in many forms, and to be free and vulnerable.
