Prerequisite: None
In this 5-week course, students will practice drawing a range of subjects, including a variety of still-life objects, landscapes, animals, architecture, and human features. The lessons will focus exclusively on the structural elements of shape and proportion and building skills in observation and hand-eye coordination. These principles apply to any subject matter, and, with time and practice, will not only greatly improve your drawing acumen and confidence, but will also help you make better preliminary designs in other media, including painting, sculpture, and textiles.
