I created this piece in deep Covid isolation in the middle of winter. At the time I was also coming to terms with a newly diagnosed chronic illness. Robin Adair’s art journaling class offered companionship and the space to create art during a time when life felt difficult. Creating art helped me focus on beauty and hope, something I hope my painting shows.
