A fine art exploration for those looking to engage with a variety of art mediums. Each week, students will create artworks using different techniques, materials, and concepts within the major disciplines of the fine arts, including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.  This course is suitable for people who are new to artmaking, returning after a break, or seeking to expand their repertoire.

• Introduction to drawing with charcoal
• Introduction to drawing with pencil
• Introduction to drawing with chalk pastel
• Introduction to drawing with oil pastel
• Introduction to sculpture with clay
• Introduction to photography
• Introduction to painting with watercolour
• Introduction to painting acrylic portraiture
• Introduction to painting acrylic abstract 
• Introduction mixed media and collage  

 

Supplies

• Mobile device (cell phone or tablet) with integrated camera or digital camera (DSL, mirrorless, compact, etc)
• All tools and consumable materials for use in studio are included
• Apron or workshirt to protect clothes
