I’ve had the creative bug since I was little. I can’t sit idle, and when making art, I disappear into the zone for hours.
I love colour, texture, and shiny things. Using unusual materials or doing something unusual with ordinary materials, is part of my art adventure. These are the patterns and themes in my work. No different than other artists, I respond to things around me and want to depict them. My medium, however, is wool, thread, and fabric instead of paint, paper, and canvas.
When I say I’m a fibre artist, people are curious enough to ask, “What exactly does that mean?” So, the pieces you see here, are what I do. It’s hard for me to pigeonhole my work as I love to work on so many different things, but I hope it gives you an idea of what magic can be created with fibre.
