This scene is from photos I took in BC. The immense size of the forest landscape dwarfing that small car seemed riveting to me. I wanted to convey the scale, beauty, and quiet perfection of the natural world that we are part of... and I also just wanted to look at something divinely cool because I painted it during last summer's heat wave.
