The Artist’s Supper is my first attempt at a triptych. After taking nearly a decade off from art, I rediscovered the meditative process of drawing with pen and ink in a drawing class with Cate Francis in Spring 2021. This drawing is a reflection of the flow state that I was in, which can be so powerful as to subdue one’s appetite entirely - save but for a snack.
