As a young child I enjoyed drawing people and doing portraits. I recently became interested in painting portraits, and using colours not typically used in realistic paintings. Little did I know this was a thing long before my time. Better late than never I guess. My takeaway from Robin Adair's acrylic painting course is that using the correct values is more important than the colours used.
