This painting was completed in Robin Adair’s Acrylic II class. We had been paying attention to movement in paintings (Emily Carr) and light and dark spaces. When I saw this anemone lit up by sunshine in a normally shaded area, I took a photo because I was attracted to the contrast in values and the movement in the shapes.
