Major Possibilities is your chance to find your perfect major and learn where Arts & Science programs can take you. Even if you already have a declared major, come out and learn more about interesting classes, research opportunities, student jobs, and more.
How it Works
- Pick up a major declaration card at the registration table.
- Visit 3 department booths and collect their stickers on your card.
- Declare your major by filling in the back of your card and drop it off at the UGSO table before you leave!
Prizes
Grand Prize
- Free tuition for a 3-credit unit Arts and Science course*
- *Domestic tuition worth one category 1 3-credit course
Participation Prizes
- 1-year subscription to streaming service of your choice
- ArtSci apparel
- ArtSci departmental swag (remove number)
Draw Rules
- Students can pick up a Booth Visit/Major Declaration Card at the registration table.
- Each time you have a conversation with a department representative at a booth, you will receive a sticker on the card. You will need three stickers to be entered into the draw for the participation prizes.
- If you declare your major, change your major, or state that you already have a major, you will be entered to win tuition for a 3-credit unit class.
- Students who receive three departmental stickers AND declare/choose/state their major will be entered in the free tuition draw AND participation draw.
Terms and conditions
- Must have 3 departmental stickers and declare/change/state major on major declaration card.
- Must submit major declaration card to the UGSO table before 3 pm, January 10, 2025.
- Winners will be notified via their USask email after the event.
Eligibility
- Must be a current Arts & Science undergraduate student enrolled in Winter 2025 classes to win.

Declare your major at Major Possibilities!
If you need help with declaring your major, the Undergraduate Student Office staff will be present to help you declare throughout the event.
