The Rise of Classificatory Verbs: Using a Naturalistic Corpus of Dene First Language Acquisition to Study Conceptual Development

In this talk, I discuss some of the challenges and rewards of using naturalistic data in a language acquisition study located in La Loche and Clearwater River Dene Nation (SK) that took place 2014–19.
