Grad School Info Night

Interested in English Grad School? This info session is for you!

Event

Are you curious about embarking on a Master's Degree in English? If so, the English Course Council would be thrilled to have you at our Grad School Info Night on November 2nd in Arts 101.

From 3:30–5:00 p.m., ECC members will present information about how to apply to grad school, share what they've learned concerning application processes and life as grad students, and give information about the CGS-M (SSHRC) scholarships and other funding. It's also a chance to connect with current grad students and ask any questions you might have. Every U of S grad student in English is a member of the ECC. It's a great way to connect with your peers, who'll be at various stages in their learning and research.

All of us at the ECC know that preparing for grad school is both overwhelming and really exciting! We aim to demystify things and shine some light on what helped us in the past, in the hope that it might help you, too!

While this event primarily concerns English literature as an area of study, we welcome any other humanities students who might be interested! Even if you're a year or two away from graduation, please consider coming! We'd love to have you, whether B.A. degree completion is looming or whether you're considering graduate study at a further point in your future.
