The Department of English invites you to a special in-person event with Mark Abley (BA’75)—College of Arts and Science graduate and recipient of a 2022 honorary degree from USask—who will share the places a humanities degree can take you.

About this event

Mark Abley (BA’75) is an award-winning Canadian author, journalist, poet and editor. His wide range of accomplishments include working as an editor and columnist for the Montreal Gazette, writing several highly acclaimed non-fiction books, and being a highly sought-after lecturer. His contributions to the writing community have earned him a Rhodes Scholarship and the Guggenheim fellowship.
