This event is part of the SHIFT webinar series for College of Arts and Science undergraduate students, graduate students and recent graduates. The online sessions feature alumni speakers and presentations focused on how to succeed post-graduation.

About the speakers
Dawne Warner (BA'92) is an employer and community engagement coordinator who collaborates with employers, community leaders and career development professionals to support student career success as they transition into the world of work. After spending more than 15 years as a leader in human resources and operations management within public and private organizations, Dawne brings her experience and knowledge to her role by consulting, educating and strategizing with employers, industry leaders and community partners to ensure that connecting and hiring USask students and alumni is a key part of their organization's recruitment objectives. As well, Dawne facilitates employment-focused workshops with campus partners and meets with students on a one-on-one basis to support their transition from student life to professional employment. Dawne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from the University of Saskatchewan and an Ontological Coaching Certificate from The Newfield Institute.

Roberta Braid has a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Winnipeg. She has worked at the Student Employment and Career Centre (SECC) at the University of Saskatchewan for just over two years as a career counsellor, supporting students in exploring their career options, identifying goals and planning next steps.
