A Literature Matters talk by Ludmilla Voitkovska, University of Saskatchewan Department of English
Joseph Conrad’s birthplace is shrouded in mystery. With empires shrinking and borders moving, one could go to bed in one country and wake up in another. We will be reading the tea leaves of political and cultural history of the region to determine where exactly Conrad was born.
