About the speaker
Dr. Angela M. Jaime (Pit River and Valley Maidu) is vice-dean Indigenous and professor for the College of Arts and Science at the University of Saskatchewan. Her areas of research are in Native women and their experiences in higher education, Indigenous education, stereotypes and generalizations of race, culture and gender within education. She promotes social justice by critically examining systems of oppression, discrimination and assimilation of people of colour in higher education.
