About this event
The College of Arts and Science at the University of Saskatchewan (USask), in partnership with USask’s Student Employment and Career Centre (SECC), will host a live online session for students and recent graduates that focuses on where your degree from the College of Arts and Science can take you.

Session overview
Sometimes we have to think outside of the box to connect the dots between a degree and potential careers. We will also explore the plethora of opportunities that an Arts and Science degree can lead to after graduation. In this session, participants will learn strategies to identify and evaluate career opportunities using the best resources.

At the end of this session, participants will understand:

- How to research and evaluate career options and opportunities;

- Why self awareness is such an important part of career decision-making; and

- How to leverage LinkedIn and career interviewing strategies.

Speaker's bio:
Roberta Braid has a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Winnipeg. She has worked at the SECC for more than two years as a career counsellor, supporting students in exploring their career options, identifying goals, and planning next steps.
