The University of Saskatchewan community will enjoy an extended holiday this season.

College of Arts and Science holiday closure

College of Arts and Science buildings will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 19 to Jan. 4

News

All College of Arts and Science buildings will be closed for the holidays from 3 pm on Dec. 18, 2020 until 8 am on Jan. 4, 2021.

The College of Arts and Science encourages students, faculty and staff to enjoy the extended holiday. Please do not enter campus buildings during the closure unless you are required to be onsite for essential work.

Most campus services will be unavailable over the holidays.

  • Custodial services will be extremely limited. High-touch surfaces will not be cleaned daily. As such, the risk of COVID-19 transmission will increase if unauthorized people enter buildings during the closure.
  • Depending on weather events, walkways and stairs might not be cleared of snow.
  • Protective Services will continue to operate. In the event of an emergency, call 306-966-5555 at any time of the day or night.

In addition to the University of Saskatchewan’s scheduled winter closure from Dec. 25–Jan. 4, the university is providing all faculty and staff with extra days off between Dec. 21 and 24 as an acknowledgement of their work in helping guide the university through a difficult year.

The College of Arts and Science hopes that everyone enjoys rest and relaxation during this time off.
