About this event:
The College of Arts and Science at the University of Saskatchewan (USask), in partnership with USask’s Student Employment and Career Centre (SECC), will host a live online session for students and alumni that focuses on where your degree from the College of Arts and Science can take you.

Session overview:
Sometimes we have to think outside of the box to connect the dots between degrees and career possibilities and to discover the opportunities that fit best. In this session, participants will learn how to use strategies in identifying career opportunities, while knowing what to look for when evaluating options and learning where to find the best resources.

At the end of this session, participants will understand:

• How to research and evaluate career options and opportunities;
• Why self awareness is such an important part of their career decision-making; and
• How to leverage LinkedIn and career information interviewing strategies.

Speaker's bio:
Roberta Braid has a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Winnipeg. She has worked at the SECC for more than two years as a career counsellor, supporting students in exploring their career options, identifying goals, and planning next steps.
