Carolyn Christie is a retired Montreal Symphony Orchestra flutist, now trained in mental performance skills coaching. She uses her 40 years of experience on stage coupled with her sports psychology training while working with professionals and students across North America to assist them to excel in their performances. Join Carolyn Christie and Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra principal flutist Allison Miller as they discuss confidence building, concentration under pressure, and thorough preparation plans that lead to better results in musical performance.

Christie is an associate professor of music at McGill University. She holds a Master of Human Kinetics degree from the University of Ottawa with a concentration in intervention and counseling. Christie brings a wealth of knowledge to her teaching, having presented at many prestigious summer festivals including NYO Canada. She is a longtime mentor and coach of SSO principal flutist Allison Miller.
