In response to the rapidly evolving events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, this event has been cancelled.


Local author and advocate Adam Pottle will read and discuss his latest book, Voice: On Writing with Deafness, as part of Saskatoon Public Library’s author reading series. Learn more on the Saskatoon Public Library website.

Dr. Adam Pottle (PhD’16) is an award-winning novelist, poet and playwright whose work explores the fiery beauty of Deafness and disability. He is the recipient of the College of Arts and Science’s 2020 Young Alumni of Influence Award.

In Voice, Pottle explores the crucial role Deafness has played in the growth of his imagination. ASL interpretation and live captioning presented as part of the reading.

Voice was recently shortlisted for two Saskatchewan Book Awards, including book of the year.
