Join us for a presentation by Dr. Kenneth Tupper on a cutting edge topic in health research. Psychedelic drugs, such as LSD, psilocybin, ayahuasca and MDMA, are re-emerging as object of inquiry in medical science. Recent human subject studies show that psychedelic research can be conducted in a safe and rigorous manner. Kenneth will review new findings on the use of new psychedelic drugs as adjuncts to psychotherapeutic treatments for anxiety, depression, substance use disorder. He will also explore how psychedelic science may have implications for future medical and neuroscientific research, health professional training, and drug education.
