Building connections is crucial to promoting interest and learning within the scientific realm. However, it is also important to understand how social constructs can impact and possibly inhibit growth within the scientific community. The theme of this breakfast, hosted by the USask Women in Chemistry (USask-WiC) organization, is "Building bonds to create future leaders."

Dr. Lesley Biggs (PhD), a former USask professor of history and women’s and gender studies, will give a 45-minute workshop titled “Crucial Conversations: Reflecting on Identities, Intersectionality and Privilege.”

All members of the university community are invited to attend and participate.
