Dr. André Micheletti, professor of cello and chamber music at the University of Sao Paulo in Ribeirao Preto, Brazil, will present two of Bach’s Cello Suites in a lecture-recital, providing insightful historical context for the composition of these remarkable works, and giving an overview of the developments of the cello.
