The Department of English congratulates Jeanette Lynes on being the recipient of the 2019 Constance Rooke Creative Nonfiction Prize. Her entry, "Bat Reign,"will be published in The Malahat Review's winter 2019 issue #209. As well, Lynes receives a grand prize of $1,000.
