About Arnold August:
Arnold August, (MA, political science, McGill University) is a Canadian journalist, lecturer and author of Democracy in Cuba and the 1997–98 Elections, Cuba and Its Neighbours: Democracy in Motion and Cuba–U.S. Relations: Obama and Beyond. He collaborates with many websites, television and radio broadcasts based in Latin America, Cuba, Europe, North America and the Middle East. He gives conferences in Cuba, Canada, the U.K. and the U.S. He recently returned from another visit to Venezuela where he participated, as part of the Canadian delegation, in the Foro Sao Paolo. A report-back from that experience is part of the conference.
