The College of Arts and Science and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics sends condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Dr. Bikkar Singh Lalli (PhD), who died on Feb. 13, 2019.
Lalli was born in Kotli, in Punjab, on June 5, 1928. He was a lecturer in Punjab before joining the University of Saskatchewan's Department of Mathematics as an assistant professor in 1966. He became an associate professor in 1968, professor in 1975 and was department head from 1977-1979.
