Student Film Screenings

Two films -- "Being There" and "Not About Us" -- will be screened for the first time while the acclaimed "Paper Airplanes" comedy-drama will receive an encore screening

Three student films will be screened during an event on Wednesday, April 6, beginning at 7 pm at the Broadway Theatre.

The films being screened are as follows: 

Being There is a meditative exploration of the philosophical views of Wayne Turner, Custodian at the University of Saskatchewan Department of Drama. 

Not About Us explores the lives of four young Saskatchewan women striving to overcome the trauma and stigma of sexual assault.

The evening will end with an encore screening of the acclaimed feature length comedy-drama Paper Airplanes

All productions were created entirely by students of the University of Saskatchewan media studies course Creating for the 21st Century Screen.
