The University of Saskatchewan is a partner on The Word On The Street Saskatoon, an annual festival of Canadian literary talent.

Participants in the 2018 festival include College of Arts and Science alumni Sharon Butala (BEd'62, BA'63, PGD'73, DLitt’04); Trevor Herriot (BA’79, Arts’81); Randy Lundy (BA’94, MA’00); and Arthur Slade (BA’89); as well as Professor of English Jeanette Lynes, head of the MFA in Writing Program.
