Professor Patience Elabor-Idemudia (Department of Sociology) has been recognized by the Nigerian Canadian Association of Saskatoon for her service, dedication and commitment to the growth of their community with a meritorious award. Elabor-Idemudia's research focuses on immigration, racial and ethnic relations, human trafficking and the challenges facing immigrant women from developing nations.
The Nigerian-Canadian Association of Saskatchewan (NCAs) is a non-profit and non-political association established in 2016, with its headquarters based in Saskatoon.
