Congratulations to Yin Liu, this year’s recipient of the College of Arts and Science Teaching Excellence Award in the Humanities. Professor Liu is not only the Director of the interdisciplinary Classical, Medieval, and Renaissance Studies program, she is also the principal investigator on the SSHRC-funded Medieval Codes project, which has engaged well over a dozen undergraduate and graduate students in frontline research. In addition to this College award, Professor Liu received the 2005 USSU Teaching Excellence Award and has been nominated for the same recognition a further five times. She is an outstanding teacher, a leader in experiential learning opportunities in the Humanities, and a highly valued colleague. Congratulations, Yin, on this richly deserved recognition!
