Rita Matlock of the Department of English has won the 2016-17 Sylvia Wallace Sessional Teaching Award. The award recognizes her extraordinary commitment as an instructor who has worked with students throughout the province, who has been a leader in innovative instructional delivery methods, and who has played a crucial role as the Coordinator of the Writing Centre at the University of Saskatchewan’s Centre for Continuing and Distance Education. Rita Matlock is an integral part of the Department of English and Distance Education, and a mentor who demonstrates an unwavering willingness to share her knowledge and her passion for teaching.
