Adrian Stimson: School Days

Solo exhibition by critically acclaimed artist Adrian Stimson (MFA'06).

When: April 28-July 7, 2017

Where: Wanuskewin Heritage Park
RR #4 Penner Road
Saskatoon, SK, S7K 3J7

Stimson’s School Days takes a critical look at the residential school system and its effects on the Canadian imagination and the longstanding effects on Indigenous people in Canada. In this series we are a witness to the resilience of Indigenous people and the power to ignite, burn away, destroy in totality the inherited inter-generational trauma caused by those who implemented this particular institution of power over the most vulnerable of our society—children.
