Sandra Timsic joins SIL as Manager
Dr. Sandra Timsic has accepted the position as laboratory manager for the Saskatchewan Isotope Laboratory.
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to send this email to announce that Dr. Sandra Timsic has accepted the position as laboratory manager for the Saskatchewan Isotope Laboratory. She took up her new position in August. Sandra competed for the position with thirty other applicants from across Canada and beyond. She was the best candidate who applied, and we are very happy that she agreed to join us in the Manager position.
Sandra earned her Ph.D. from our Department last Spring, supervised by Dr. Patterson. Since then she has been working in the laboratory in a technical support position, filling in for Dinka Besic who left for a position a the IAEA in Austria the year before.
The hiring of Sandra marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the Saskatchewan Isotope Laboratory. We look forward to productive, creative and prosperous days ahead for the facility and all of its users.
Chris, Bill, Bruce and Kevin
