Aboriginal Mathematics Education Decolonizing education Finite Fields Indigenous education Math Education Math Outreach Narrative Inquiry Tensor Canonical Forms Tensor Rank anti-oppressive education

I do research in two separate areas: Pure mathematics and mathematics education. In the former, I study linear and multilinear algebra. I am interested in tensor rank and canonical forms of tensors over finite fields, as well as other related classification problems of tensors. In the latter, I am use a narrative inquiry methodology to explore Aboriginal teachers' experiences. I am interested in anti-oppressive and decolonizing practices in Aboriginal mathematics education
