About me

Shannon is an artist, educator and researcher specializing in voice and acting. She has appeared on stages across Canada, Off-Broadway, and in London's West End. She has contributed to an array of Canadian-made media as a performer, producer and assistant director from AAA video game titles to music videos. She holds a BFA in Acting and an MFA in Theatre Voice Pedagogy from the University of Alberta. In addition to her creative activity, her research fuses performance and cognitive neuroscience methodologies to investigate the relationship between experience and expression.
