About me
Andrew Hartman (they/them) is a queer, Métis evaluator, applied social psychology doctoral student, and Founder of Psystem. Andrew’s education and training background focuses on both higher education and program evaluation. Andrew’s masters work was awarded the Outstanding Master’s Thesis award by the Canadian Society for the Study of Higher Education. Andrew has worked in student affairs for over 7 years and is currently project managing the University of Saskatchewan’s new graduate student support and information platform, the Grad HUB. As an evaluator, Andrew has led successful evaluations for organizations at the local and national level utilizing an array of theoretical approaches and mixed method design. They have assisted community partners in writing and obtaining local and federal grants to create grassroots social programs. Andrew also has years of experience as an educator. Andrew is a current sessional instructor for Women’s & Gender studies and Psychology & Health Studies. They have been sharing evaluation knowledge through evaluation workshops internationally. Andrew was previously a Teacher-Scholar Doctoral Fellow (2023/2024) and is currently participating in a fellowship with Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning supporting the University of Saskatchewan community in achieving teaching excellence. Andrew has a love for evaluation, education, and amplifying voices of those who are marginalized.
