In Performance! Convo Series – The Music of Malcolm Forsyth
The Department of Music’s In Performance! Convo Series (IPCS) at the U of S will be presenting a performance featuring the music of Malcolm Forsyth on:
Time: Tuesday, Nov. 3, 7:30 p.m.
Place: Convocation Hall
University of Saskatchewan
Department of Music faculty and friends, including the University of Saskatchewan Amati Quartet in Residence, will perform the chamber music of Dr. Malcolm Forsyth. Forsyth is an accomplished Canadian “Composer of the Year” and is the winner of the first JUNO for “Best Classical Composition” for his Suite Atayoskewin. He was born and educated in South Africa before settling in Canada where he later became a faculty member of the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students. Tickets are available at McNally Robinson Booksellers, the Department of Music and at the door.
