About this event
The Reconciliation Saskatoon Learning Committee is working with the University of Saskatchewan’s Department of Political Studies to co-present an event on the importance of Indigenous language preservation in the process of Truth and Reconciliation.
We'll host a panel discussion about the fundamental importance of Indigenous languages to healing and moving forward in Truth and Reconciliation. What are the barriers for learning and practising Indigenous languages? In the latter half of the event, we'll dive into Indigenous language learning, starting with phrases and terminology to help us use these languages in everyday life.
