Let’s do it! - a show created by Garry Gable to celebrate the music and lyrics of American composer Cole Porter. Porter found much to expose of the American culture in which he lived, but mostly parodies the fun, witty, sometimes odd lives of people of 1930’s America. Let’s do it! is full of those fun, complicated rhymes and rhythms, along with some of the best ‘torch songs’ ever conceived, and takes the chance to poke some fun at some of the dated lyrics and social ideas of Porter’s Golden Era shows.
