About this concert

Garry and Kathy Gable have adapted an English-language reduction of Johann Strauss’s famous operetta 'Die Fledermaus' (The Bat). Our twist includes a non-binary Prinx Orlofsky, a female Dr. Blindt (the lawyer), and the usuals—Rosalinda, Eisenstein (her husband), his “bat”tered friend Dr. Falke, and the lively chambermaid Adele—in a necessarily shorter, yet satisfying story that sees the flawed prankster Eisenstein revealed in his friend’s “Revenge of the Bat.”
