A free stories and crafts program for children ages four to nine and their parents. Join us at the Museum of Antiquities on the last Saturday of each month.

Meet an Ancient Roman!

Kevin Hicks returns this month for the first in a three-month series of Crafternoons about Ancient Rome. This month a real-life Roman soldier will tell kids about what life was like in the ancient city, and show them some of the items that Roman soldiers would have carried with them on the road. After meeting the Roman soldier, kids will have some time to get crafty and make their own traveller’s pouch so that they can feel like a legionnaire!
