Rachel Broussard’s work investigates the dynamic between the individual and the environment. The artist creates collages from coffee table nature books that morph flora and fauna into fantastical hybrid creatures. The images are sliced through with delicate lace-like cut-outs to reflect the act of human intervention on nature.
